Gentlemen, here is the NEW TOP PERFORMING SITE. When we last reviewed GIO, it was brand new. Since then, it’s gotten some scale and we’ve been very satisfied with the results. We’ve INCREASED our lay ratio by quite a bit, basically propelling it to be our top recommended site.

Here’s the nitty gritty on GIO. The site has seen a strong increase in membership since we reviewed it (below). Free memberships are obviously limited – but the basic features are pretty good. As a new member, you WILL be bogged down with a questionnaire – an unfortunate step. However – this does ENSURE that you’re dealing with real people – which is always good. Just pick options on the registration page – if you’re out of time – pick positive.

Once logged in, you can pick the ‘best match’ option to find a partner list. We’re not sure how much you can trust this ‘automated’ match – our experience has shown that you need to hunt for real profiles and this option is not really valid.

In a nutshell, the features are:

- Annoying questionnaire (we lived through it! – patience is good – quick selection is KEY)

- Uploading pics (I still can’t believe dating sites flaunt this as a ‘feature’ – still – this site lets you upload high-res pics)

- Search members database, which is good

- Send the Getiton.com equivalent of ‘winks’ (flirts)

- Full audio + video support

- Email and real-time chat

- Build a Hotlist (pretty standard in all sites)

- Block someone / Who’s Online

Anyways – we like Getiton.com – it’s got a good influx of new blood – which is always nice.

Here’s what you can do with the free membership:- TRY IT – nothing worth *really* writing about in detail: profile, view profiles (it’s ok but constrained), basic email, hotlist (limited), bla bla bla – your standard free package.

GetItOn.com is a newly launched site, and our overall experience with it was very satisfying. Good girl ratio and good communication features helped us pull a few hotties from this site. It’s important to note that while talking to women on this site, we used a softer approach since the women using this service are geared a little more towards sexual compatibility rather than plain vulgarity. Overall, we found that women on the site were fairy responsive and open to a few freaky ideas. We found the price to be worth the expense.

Marisa was one of those chicks that acted tough from the get-go. Each time she talked, it was a question or a challenge. Between questions like “Are you telling me you wouldn’t go skydiving?” and “Seriously, you can’t tell me that men aren’t’ just about sex”, she was hard to crack. I quickly realized this was just a front – she was acting tough because she had been hurt before and was scared to open up to a stranger too quickly. I asked her one question: “Who hurt you so badly that you can’t tell me who you really are?” – and that was it. From then on, she just warmed up and we had a nice date. It’s important to really get to the core of why she’s acting like she is – sometimes it’s just a front to protect herself from the undesirable men.

I switched up from SexSearch to GetItOn after the ‘Mary adventure’, and I was able to set a date with Kate, a fashion designer in training. When I initially met her, she was a little off – like someone who seemed a little weirded out by meeting someone she had chatted with online. It was her first date stemming from an online dating site, and I think she didn’t know what to expect. After having talked for a bit (and I assume that she guessed I wasn’t a weirdo), she got comfortable with the whole situation and we really connected. She was funny, had great aspirations and a twisted (read.: dead baby jokes) sense of humour. The date went well and we ended up having a great time together.
